For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ and individually parts of one another. Romans 12:4-5

The Sacred Heart of Jesus youth group provides an opportunity for the high school youth of this community to experience a rich meaningful encounter of their faith in a social, God-centered environment among their peers.

We are a high school group that is…. Student Lead, Adult Guided. Individual youth teams contribute their strengths towards the meetings. These teams include (but not limited to): Charity, Social, Games/Activities, Praise & Worship Music and Communication/skits. A collaboration of these teams along with adult-lead faith topics all work towards a God-centered, fun, dynamic environment where the youth are invited to act on God's calling…to not just believing in Jesus but to be-living Jesus in their daily lives.

An important aspect to our group is…. service to others. We collaborate with Caritas to help organize and run the Christmas and Chinese New Year parties for migrant children of a nearby village. We also assist in taking these children on a Spring outing.

We are a group that…. mirrors the dynamics of Life Teen, a Catholic youth organization, to bring teens to a closer relationship with Christ and having a great time doing it.

We play crazy games, go out on socials, have deep conversations and build lasting relationships. We meet 3-4 times a month during the school year.
