EUCHARISTIC MINISTRY
The Eucharist constitutes the very life of the Church, for the Lord said: "I am the bread of life. No one who comes to me shall ever be hungry, no one who believes in me shall ever thirst."
As an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist, commonly referred to as a eucharistic minister, lay people can serve the Catholic Church by distributing Holy Communion during Mass and bringing it to the homebound. We, at Sacred Heart of Jesus invite you to be a part of the Eucharistic Ministry.
To be a
minister, you have to be:
• Mature Christians
• Of good character
• Take the faith seriously and lead Christian lives.
We go through a very structured orientation and
prepare you for playing this participative role. For more
information, contact Lilly Vasanthini.
